These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the website located at https://archangelmichaeloc.org (the “Website”) and the text messaging program operated by Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Church”). By accessing the Website or opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our messaging program.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Program Terms

This section describes our SMS program in the form required for carrier and 10DLC registration. Do not remove it.

3.1 Program Description

When you opt in to the Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church text messaging program, you will receive informational text messages from the Church. Messages may include church announcements and liturgy or service updates, event reminders and registrations, youth meetings and activities, volunteer coordination, emergency notifications, and general updates. Message frequency varies. This is an opt-in program for members and visitors who have chosen to receive these messages; it is not used for marketing on behalf of any third party.

3.2 How to Opt In (Consent)

You may consent to receive text messages from us by providing your mobile number and your written or verbal agreement on a sign-up card or form in person at the Church or at a church event. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, donation, or participation in church activities. By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number provided.

3.3 How to Opt Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation message, and you will no longer receive text messages from us. To rejoin, simply opt in again using one of the methods above.

3.5 Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier and plan. We do not charge a fee for the messages themselves, but your carrier’s standard messaging and data rates will apply to messages you send and receive.

3.6 Supported Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to the effective transmission of your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

3.7 Privacy of Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information you provide, such as your mobile number, will only be used to operate the messaging program described above and as set out in our Privacy Policy.

4. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, the Website by any third party. You agree not to:

• Use the Website in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
